Return Policy

Return Authorization

Thank you for choosing Gwatney Performance Innovation for your performance needs. While we strive to provide the best possible service and products, we understand that from time to time, a customer may need to return an item for either exchange or refund. In order to obtain a return merchandise authorization, please email us at support@gwatneyperformance.com or simply give us a call at 501-985-4947.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept any returns without prior authorization. All returns must be postage paid and any that are collect on delivery will be rejected. Please ensure you include a printed copy of your order with your authorized return. All return orders will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, and shipping expenses are non-refundable. Transaction fees charged by the payment processor are non-refundable.

Returns

Returns are generally accepted within 30 days from the date of your order. No returns will be accepted after that period of time. Parts must be in their original condition and include their original packaging and/or documentation. Gwatney Performance Innovation is not responsible for damage from improper installation/use of products. Parts damaged through improper installation or abuse are not returnable, and we are not responsible for labor or other expenses caused while using wrong or defective parts. It is the buyer and installer’s responsibility to verify the correctness of all parts prior to use or installation.

Special Order & Installed Parts

Special-order parts, installed parts, painted parts, and custom-made parts are not eligible for return. Electrical parts are not returnable if plugged in or unsealed for any reason. Installed and electrical parts are only covered against manufacturer defects and are subject to a warranty exchange only, at the discretion of the manufacturer.

New Vehicle Warranty

When ordering parts, services, or accessories for vehicles still under manufacturer warranty, it is the responsibility of the buyer and/or owner to ensure that the warranty will not be adversely affected by these parts or services. If you are unsure, contact your local servicing dealership or vehicle manufacturer prior to ordering.

Parts Manufacturer Warranty

Typically, parts are warrantied by the manufacturer for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase, although this may vary among manufacturers. Parts used for racing or competition carry a manufacturer’s defect warranty only and are not warrantied against breakage or wear under any circumstance.

Prior to returning any electrical parts for warranty consideration, please email customer service as some manufacturers require the parts be sent directly back to the manufacturer. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee or refuse any parts that show evidence of being used or installed contrary to manufacturer’s instructions, subjected to improper handling, packaging, or shipping by the customer.

Damaged or Missing Items

In the event your order contains damaged or missing items, it must be reported within five business days of receipt of the order. Damaged or missing items will be claimed through the applicable shipping company. This process can take 3-4 weeks for completion, and the customer will be refunded for any damaged or missing parts upon receipt of claim payment from the shipping company. During the claims process with the shipping company, the shipping company may request surrender of damaged items. Failure to comply with the shipping company requests will be grounds for denial of the claim and may result in the inability to receive a claim payment.
