Lingenfelter TRG-002 58x-24x crank sensor trigger conversion modules have been designed using the latest automotive qualified components with extended temperature range operation. A fast 16-bit microcontroller with an enhanced timer system is utilized to achieve precise signal timing for late model GM engine applications. The Lingenfelter TRG-002 conversion modules allow Gen IV GM V8 engines with the 58X crankshaft trigger wheel and the 4X camshaft timing gear to be installed in earlier vehicles designed to accept the 24X crankshaft trigger wheel and the 1X camshaft trigger wheel–without having to take the engine apart to change the camshaft timing gear or the crankshaft reluctor wheel.

Yes, I have a 2008 trailblazer with the 4200. I put a motor in it out of a 2004 trailblazer but all it does is turn over trying to find the right box so it will run. I think the motor that was originally in it for the 2008 had a 58 reluctor wheel and I think the one I put in it out of the old For has got the 24 reluctor wheel. So I think I need one that will make it think that it’s still reading the 58 reluctor wheel
