The GPI/Kuntz Edelbrock Canted LS3 289cc Hyd Roller Cylinder Head is designed for the customer who has already invested in their LS3 intake manifold and/or supercharger and is looking for the ultimate “Drop-In” Cylinder Head. With an industry leading port velocity and swirl pattern, this Edelbrock Canted LS3 head has enough airflow to easily make 900hp N/A!
This Edelbrock Canted LS3 casting was designed to be a direct drop in for the customer determined to utilize their LS3 components. This cylinder head comes ready to accept OE; LS3 Pattern Exhaust, Water Crossover provisions, Valve Covers, LS3 Intake Manifold, all of the accessory bolt hole positions are in the same location, 4.200 Bore Diameter Head Gaskets, and will utilize the factory head fasteners or the respective head stud kit as the OE head! Even with canted valve arrangement, you can re-use the factory LS3 rocker arms with the included trunnion pedestal adapters.
The customer must ensure that their cam profile will match the valve springs provided. Customer must also ensure that there is adequate pushrod and rocker arm clearance on every installation. Valve spring installed heights will only vary .015″ from called specification, as a .015″ shim is the smallest available. It is the customers responsibility to verify proper piston to valve clearance! BOTH RADIAL AND DEPTH CLEARANCE NEED TO BE VERIFIED ON EVERY INSTALLATION!!
