From the factory, the 5th Generation (2010-2015) Camaro and the 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP share a reservoir between the brake hydraulic system and the clutch hydraulic system. When you’re upgrading the clutch or the hydraulics, it is smart to give the clutch hydraulic system it’s own separate reservoir, which will minimize the amount of trash that gets into your clutch hydraulic system and assure that the brake hydraulic system can never add unnecessary heat to your clutch hydraulic system.
The bottom line? If you want your Camaro or G8 shifting as effectively as possible, you’ll want this high quality, factory looking Tick Performance Remote Clutch Reservoir Kit installed!
looks to be good, have not installed yet. need to get a hose.
I haven’t installed yet but it looks like it’s of good quality
Kit does not include everything necessary for installation. Factory line for clutch is too short to reach the remote reservoir. A longer hose to actually get it installed is not included, nor is there a mention that you need a different line to connect the remote reservoir to the clutch master cylinder. Keep that in mind when purchasing this “kit”
Absolutely necessary for 5th gen camaros. Dont know why GM didnt do it if they did on the mid 2000’s GTO’s
Great quality and price!
