Description
The out of the box MSD runners and port alignment leaves a lot to be desired. We port the entry transition from the throttle body flange to the plenum, as well as the manifold runners. The manifold is completely disassembled for this. Runner Taper is verified and any casting flaws from the manifold production are removed.
*We recommend taking the top off the intake, clean thoroughly, and test fit on your engine to validate port alignment prior to final installation *

    The porting on this MSD looks very even throughout all the runners and the throttle body opening. I can’t stop showing people until I get it put on my car. Nothing but quality from GPI!

    A We do not but I believe all you have to do is drill out the caps and the provision is underneath those for the injectors already

    A Haven't ran one of these manifolds with forced induction but I would recommend not having it ported to be on the safe side and lead times change, I would call in and ask for Zacc ext 5001 he handles all of the manifold porting questions

    A This is for gen v lt1 v8 applications, they don’t offer this manifold for v6 and we don’t sell any parts for v6

    A Yes we can and typically we'll see 10-12 hp gains
    8. I have been throwing the idea of porting my MSD Intake for awhile, but trying to see if its worth the money. I currently have a A&A TI supercharger along with headers Katech ported throttle body and I just installed Z06 Fuel Pump and Injectors. Do you think there would be enough gain based on the cost of porting or should I just focus on fuel?

    A With the car being boosted it will be better to focus on the fuel side of things. The gains on a forced induction are not as noticeable as if it was on an N/A set up.

    We see increased airflow from opening up the mouth of the manifold with porting, as well as from porting the runners. Gains vary widely based on the overall configuration of the build. More aggressive setups with see greater gains from porting it.
