The SS1 Turbocharger LS Camshaft is a versatile and powerful street performance turbo cam for vehicles using 6.0L-6.2L LS engines. These vehicles typically utilize an appropriately sized turbocharger(s) targeting low – moderate boost and power levels.
The SS1 Turbocharger Camshaft will have a mild performance idle and strong mid-range power and torque. This cam is a great choice for street performance providing strong power and quick spooling with excellent drivability. You’ll find additional performance gains when using an increased stall speed torque converter, free flowing exhaust and intake systems. Valve spring and pushrod upgrade are required.
The SS2 Turbocharger LS Camshaft is a powerful street performance turbo cam for vehicles using 6.0L-6.2L LS engines. These engines are usually equipped with an appropriately sized turbocharger(s) targeting moderate boost and power levels.
The SS2 Turbocharger Camshaft will have a mild performance idle and strong mid-range power and torque. This cam is a great choice for street performance providing strong power and quick spooling with very good drivability. This cam will perform best in a vehicle with free flowing performance exhaust and increased stall speed torque converter. Valve spring and pushrod upgrade is also required.
The SS3 Turbocharger LS Camshaft is an aggressive street performance and racing turbo cam for vehicles using 6.0L-6.2L LS engines. These are usually equipped with an appropriately sized turbocharger(s) targeting moderate to aggressive boost and power levels.
The SS3 Turbocharger Camshaft will have a performance idle and strong mid-range to upper RPM power and torque. This cam is a great choice for aggressive street performance or racing providing impressive power yet still maintaining good drivability. This cam requires a vehicle with free flowing performance or racing exhaust. The Turbo SS3 also requires an increased stall-speed torque converter, optimum final drive gearing, along with valve spring/pushrod upgrade.
The SS4 Turbocharger LS Camshaft is street/strip and racing turbo cam for vehicles using 6.0L-6.2L LS engines. The engines typically equip an appropriately sized turbocharger(s) targeting moderate to aggressive boost and power levels.
The SS4 Turbocharger Camshaft will have a performance idle with a light “lope”. This comes with strong upper, mid-range to high RPM, power and torque. This cam is a great choice for street/strip or racing providing very strong power yet still maintaining good drivability. The Turbo SS4 requires a vehicle with free flowing racing exhaust, optimum high stall-speed torque converter and optimum final drive gearing. This cam requires valve spring and pushrod upgrades as well.
We put it in a 402ci ls3 88mm bullet turbo 400 turbo trans 17 pitch converter and it lit instantly no lag sounds like a sbc. Ps I blabbed these cam numbers to comp cams 17 years ago if not more. Just glad i can get it as a shelf cam.
Don’t have personal experience with this cam yet but I’ve seen other builds with it and it sounds great and hauls the mail
