Would you say that a ported ls2 intake would flow as good or better than a stock ls3 intake? Cfm? Do you guys also port the 243 heads? I have an ls3 Intake I acquired and I am struggling back and forth on going ls3 heads and Intake on my ls2 or just porting my 243s and the ls2 intake! I have a stage 4 cam and I don't know if I can run the ls3 heads with it because of clearance issues

Read more answer nowAsked by on March 9, 2023 2:05 pmA The ported ls2 manifold isn't going to be as good as the ls3 manifold and ls3 heads would be better than the 243's and you can run the ss4 with ls3 heads and shouldn't have clearance issues as long as you're run stock head gasket thickness and heads aren't milled

What exactly do you guys do when porting the oem ls2 manifold? What is the turn around time? I’m going with a boosted setup roughly 15 psi and about 900-950whp. Also have you guys figured out any of the gains from your work?

Read more answer nowAsked by on October 5, 2020 8:01 pmA We will port into the runners and clean up any mismatch in the two halves of the intake. Any casting lines. Then open up the tb inlet some. clean it up and blend into the body of the manifold. It is not as much as removing material as it is tidy up any thing that can cause turbulence in the manifold.
