Description
The DSX Tuning flex fuel kit is the original plug and play solution to adding flex fuel on Gen IV/Gen V GM V8 vehicles. Use these kits to add the ability to run anywhere from straight gasoline to straight ethanol as well as reveal the true power potential of your setup. Forced induction scenarios especially benefit from the use of ethanol, and these allow you to seamlessly switch between gasoline and ethanol without having to monitor your fuel content or reflash your tune. This kit features 100% clip together plumbing… There is ZERO need for wrenches!
This kit offers a crimped and pressure tested PTFE line to replace the factory over-the-engine line. This is a 8AN line with 6AN connections to allow true flow of a 3/8″ line (the ID of the hose end does not get significantly smaller when in the hose). This kit is available without a replacement line, and the sensor still installs at the firewall while reusing the factory fuel line, but the factory line may have a small kink because of the extended connection point.
This kit uses:
PLEASE NOTE: It is possible to install this kit without tuning, but you will not gain the ability to switch fuels until the functionality is activated in the ECM through HP Tuners or EFILive.
DSX manufactured components are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product.
