Description

As developed by GM Racing and GM Powertrain. For use in Gen III and Gen IV engines where sustained high rpms are typical. Special reduced-mass internal components allow for higher limiting speeds with aggressive camshafts designs. Improved valvetrain dynamics and stability will imporve horsepower, and high rpms. Tested to 8000 rpm in GM Racing applications. Set of 16.

    A The lifter trays have flat edges that will index the lifters for install
    A GPI support said yes the lifter trays set orientation, but that which way the 16 "lifter oil holes" face (toward front or back of engine) is *IRRELEVANT* bc its all in the oil galley. I'm facing mine forward bc the engine angles down from the front, just makes sense to me, BUT it doesn't matter. TY GPI support!

    A You'll want 3/4 to 1 3/4 turns from zero lash, if stock gasket and heads are not milled 7.425 should be the right length

    10. I have an l9h and plan on running your stage 1 vvt cam. Would the gm racing lifters or the morel 5290 ones be better? I want to put in a decent lifter, but would like to stay near the $500 mark. Plan on only running 6500. Just want something solid and no noise. Thanks
