Shipping insurance is a service that may reimburse the cost of parcels that are lost, stolen, and/or damaged in transit.
By selecting and purchasing shipping insurance, your package(s) will be insured through either the carrier or a third-party shipping insurance company. In the event your package is lost, stolen, and/or damaged in transit, Gwatney Performance will initiate a claim with the corresponding shipping insurance company. The shipping insurance company’s investigation process can routinely take six to eight weeks for completion. Upon the determination of the shipping insurance company’s claim investigation in favor of the sender, you will receive either a refund in full or replacement product(s).
If you opt to not select and purchase shipping insurance, no shipping insurance will be added to your package(s). In the event your package is lost, stolen, and/or damaged in transit, it will be the responsibility of the purchaser to pursue recourse through the carrier.
By placing your order, you are agreeing to the terms of our shipping insurance policy.
Shipping insurance is required on all orders over $3,000.
The availability of OE and performance parts is becoming a problem for everyone in the industry currently. Please know we are doing the best we can to make sure your parts are ordered and arrive in a timely manner, however, it is not uncommon to wait 4-8 weeks or more in some instances for parts currently.
Please note – if it is in stock it will ship quickly. If the part is out of stock, it will be fulfilled on a first come first served basis – based on availability at a supplier level.
