What is Shipping Insurance?

Shipping insurance is a service that may reimburse the cost of parcels that are lost, stolen, and/or damaged in transit.

By selecting and purchasing shipping insurance, your package(s) will be insured through either the carrier or a third-party shipping insurance company. In the event your package is lost, stolen, and/or damaged in transit, Gwatney Performance will initiate a claim with the corresponding shipping insurance company. The shipping insurance company’s investigation process can routinely take six to eight weeks for completion. Upon the determination of the shipping insurance company’s claim investigation in favor of the sender, you will receive either a refund in full or replacement product(s).

If you opt to not select and purchase shipping insurance, no shipping insurance will be added to your package(s). In the event your package is lost, stolen, and/or damaged in transit, it will be the responsibility of the purchaser to pursue recourse through the carrier.

By placing your order, you are agreeing to the terms of our shipping insurance policy.

Shipping insurance is required on all orders over $3,000.

Shipping delays due to parts shortages

The availability of OE and performance parts is becoming a problem for everyone in the industry currently. Please know we are doing the best we can to make sure your parts are ordered and arrive in a timely manner, however, it is not uncommon to wait 4-8 weeks or more in some instances for parts currently.

Please note – if it is in stock it will ship quickly. If the part is out of stock, it will be fulfilled on a first come first served basis – based on availability at a supplier level.

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE AN AFFIRM ACCOUNT?

 

  1. Be 18 years or older (19 years or older in Alabama or if you’re a ward of the state in Nebraska).
  2. Provide a valid U.S. or APO/FPO/DPO home address. Buy with Affirm is not currently available to West Virginia residents.
  3. Provide a valid U.S. mobile or VoIP number and agree to receive SMS texts. The phone account must be registered in your name.
  4. Provide your full name, email address, date of birth, and the last 4 digits of your social security number to help us verify your identity.



DO I HAVE A CREDIT LIMIT WITH AFFIRM?


Unlike a credit card, Affirm is not a revolving line of credit. While customers can take out multiple Affirm loans at once, each Affirm loan application is evaluated separately as a closed-end transaction. An application from a returning customer may be denied, however, if that customer has failed to repay other Affirm loans on time or if the customer shows excessive borrowing behavior.

HOW DO I PAY MY BILLS?


You can pay your Affirm bills online at www.affirm.com/pay. They accept payment by debit card, bank transfer and check.

DOES AFFIRM PERFORM A CREDIT CHECK?


Yes, when you first create an Affirm account, Affirm perform a ‘soft’ credit check to help verify your identity and determine your eligibility for financing. This ‘soft’ credit check will not affect your credit score.

WHY WAS I PROMPTED TO PAY A DOWN PAYMENT WITH A DEBIT CARD?


Affirms tries hard to approve every purchase but sometimes can’t approve the full amount. When this happens, Affirm provides a debit card down payment option so that you may still complete your purchase right away.

WHY WAS I PROMPTED FOR A CHECKING ACCOUNT?


Affirm sometimes requires additional information to consider a credit application. Such information may include an active checking account, which helps Affirm verify your identity and your ability to repay the requested loan. If they prompt you for this information but you are unable to provide it, Affirm will be unable to approve your credit application.
