Compatible with: 2016-2024 Camaro SS/ZL1, 2014-2019 Corvette Stingray/Z06, 2016-2019 Cadillac CTS-V, and 2014-2018 GM Trucks (V8 Models)

Engineered in-house by our calibration team, this advanced custom ECM patch adds two distinct performance functions to Gen V LT-powered platforms equipped with E92 or E92A ECMs: a 2-Step / Launch RPM Limiter for stationary launch control and Rolling Anti-Lag / Manual 2-Step for use while approaching a commanded RPM setpoint. This is a standalone custom patch service and does not require an existing Gwatney Performance tune.

Unlike external 2-step boxes (such as MSD or Lingenfelter units), this is a software-only solution – there is no external hardware to install, wire, or worry about failing. Our system uses fuel cutoff for an aggressive limiter with pops and bangs and can also limit smoothly through throttle control, where the ECM holds the throttle position needed to maintain the desired RPM setpoint.

How Each Mode Works

2-Step / Launch Limiter operation: Meet the configured pedal condition by pressing the clutch pedal on a manual transmission or the brake pedal on an automatic beyond its activation threshold. Press the Cruise Set button to arm the Launch Limiter; cruise control does not need to be turned on, and the Set button does not need to be held. Hold the pedal condition and rev the engine. The Launch Limiter will engage at the setpoint for the current drive mode and remain active until pedal position drops below the configured threshold.

Rolling Anti-Lag / Manual 2-Step operation: Select the desired drive mode and approach that mode’s commanded Rolling Anti-Lag RPM setpoint. Hold the Cruise Set button and go wide-open throttle (WOT) to activate Rolling Anti-Lag. Continue holding the button while using the function. Rolling Anti-Lag has its own limiter setpoint for each drive mode, separate from the Launch Limiter setpoints.

Important: Your calibration includes baseline settings, but ease into the RPM range first to confirm proper operation before any full-WOT testing or use.

How It Works

After purchase, email your current calibration file to tuning@gwatneyperformance.com with your order number as the email subject. Our calibration team will verify your operating system ID and modify your file. Turnaround times are typically similar to remote tuning times unless the operating system used by your ECM has not yet been mapped by us.
