I have a 2001 Corvette with 22,000 miles. It runs good but I probably should have the harmonic balancer (and pulleys, belts, hoses, etc.) changed out, as that can be an issue with these engines. Would a performance tune (not sure which one) be the icing in the cake for this beast?

so i got a 2019 camaro ss 10 speed wit a engine and trans tuning . i got headers , x pipe , lt2 mani , intake , ported tb , flex fuel , catch can but my check engine light still on … im tryna see if you could look at it or try to help me out wit a better tune . would i need to do a engine and trans tune again or what would we do it ?

I have a 2017 Camaro SS(A8) with an LT2 Intake manifold(not ported), CAI and I was getting ready to throw on some long tube headers. How long can I drive with that setup before I get it tuned and do I need to also have the trans tuned?

Read more answer nowAsked by on October 14, 2023 9:36 amA You should be okay to drive it for a little while, depending on what CAI it is it may throw off your air/fuel ratio enough to lean it out or run rich and the headers (assuming catless connection pipes) will cause check engine light to set for the rear o2's no longer being right will need turned off but not a big deal. Trans tune isn't a requirement for your mods but if you did want to tune the trans you would need to have your tcm unlocked by hp tuners
