I will be using the max 2.0 heads on a stock ls3 shortblock in a road race only car running 93 octane...Is there anything to be gained with a custom cam and/or associated compression increase OR is the cam/setup in the max 2.0 package already at the limit of performance for 376 cid?

I have a 14 DI L83 with a TVS 1900 with a 66MM pulley, ARH 1 7/8th LT’s, LT4 injectors, LT4 HPFP, 4” CAI, 87MM Katech ported TB and a custom built low side fuel pump Walbro 450. The truck is currently tuned on e85.
I would like to run a custom cam spec’d for my current bolt on’s. And a set of your cnc ported heads. Any help with picking the right setup for my truck would be greatly appreciated. I do not daily drive the truck or haul anything with it either. I am looking for a high lift cam with an aggressive idle. I also was told not to run a converter with my style blower so any insight on that would be great. Look forward to hearing back from you.

Think carefully about how your new can profile will be used, before ordering a custom cam. They will look over every aspect of your car and its intended use to build a cam that will uniquely fit your build specs, just make sure this is actually how the car will be used! include all info, like perhaps in the future you intend to add or modify, they can leave room for growth too!
They consider every aspect of the cam and sync it with your desired/use. Andrew is a real stickler, but for good reason! I highly recommend getting The Lt1 Intake ported “what a difference” and you do not even need a tune for this easy installed, very inexpensive upgrade! Unless you port the heads or throttle body also!
