My dad has a 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD with the 8L80 transmission. He believes the stall converter may be going bad on his truck. Is this a heavier duty option that would last longer than the stock variety his originally came with?

Gen v l83 with BTR truck Norris cam. Daily driver. Trying to figure out the right converter. Cam specs says it is good for OEM converters but at stops I am having to apply more brake pressure. Thanks

I’m only giving a 3 because it does not stall much higher than stock. stock I could get 2000rpm on a foot break now maybe 2300rpm
