Brian Tooley Racing valve spring kits in ALL of our GPI Camshaft Packages for one reason: QUALITY! We haven’t seen a single failure out of a BTR valvespring since their conception in 2005!
This .660″ Lift Dual Spring Kit (#SK001 or #SK001S) is PERFECT for All LSx engines using stock rocker arms. Includes dual polished springs and your choice of matching tool steel or titanium retainers. Also included is locators for stock or bronze guides, locks, and seals.
One of our favorite aspects of this spring kit is that the standard retainer is the lightest steel retainer made for 1.300″ dual springs, only weighing 13.9 grams or 16.4 grams with locks. Those looking for the lightest valvetrain possible should upgrade to the optional titanium retainers available at checkout, which are the lighest available for LSx dual springs weighing in at 8.5 grams, or 11 grams with locks.
Spring specs are 155 lbs @ 1.780″, 380 lbs @ 1.180″, 400 lbs @ 1.130, coil bind @ 1.070″ This is a drop in spring kit for the following engines: LS1, LS2, LS3, LS4, LS6, L76, L92, L99, LQ4, LQ9, L33, and LSA. This kit will not fit LS9 engines.
This kit WILL fit LS7 Engines with the proper amount of shim, which you can include as an option during checkout!

Read more answer nowAsked by on October 7, 2025 1:43 amA If you're not running a cam I would think the stock spring would be suitable but not sure about the guide diameter but likely would use oem valve seals 12482062 and 12482063A The bronze guide thickness is .565. Assuming this needs new locators .. but would it require aftermarket seals as well?
Do these come in a BTR labeled box? See a lot of “BTR” kits sold online but they don’t show up in any sort of BTR boxing to prove they are legit from BTR. About to order these, just want to be sure. If they don’t show up in a BTR box, I’m gonna be doubtful and hesitant to run them.

Great product, they perform as I was told they would. I installed myself with no problem and the quality unsurpassed.
One of the best companies I found to offer for the stuff I need do do the swap the only major thing is that they should make a kit with drop in parts like I know most of the kit is the only thing that really isn’t is if you get certain lifters you will need different pushrod length but I know people might have different setups which makes sense but just like have a drop in kit that is know to work with those certain lifters and pushrods while being like completely stock as I would assume alot of people are doing other than that small little thing I cant belive the shipping is only like 2 days for regular shipping it might differ from where you live but they ship everything super fast and it comes super fast and customer support is top notch and the kit literally gives you everything you would need i would give it a 9/10
